6 Months

I can't believe my little baby is already 6 months old! That's half way to 1 year! He's getting more fun by the day and learning so much. He is pretty much sitting up by himself, with minimal support and loves to stand up tall when we help him. His hair has come in so blonde. Nick's hair has always been dark but I was a little blondie as a baby so I think he gets that from me. He definitely has his daddy's eyes though, big, blue and beautiful. We're taking him to his 6 month check up in about a week but from weighing him and our measurements I think he's 20-22 lbs and 27 inches long. Yep.. he's a big boy! I've mostly given up on carrying him in his car seat and even at home if I hold him for too long I feel like my arms are going to fall off! Everything he plays with has to go straight to his mouth and if he can't fit it in he'll tell you!! He started teething at about 3 in a half months and I thought he'd have teeth by now but still nothing. Just lots and lots of drool. His acid reflux is getting better but some days I feel like he doesn't keep anything down. Since birth he really hasn't been sick at all, I think he had one small cold but other than that he's a healthy boy. I feel so blessed to have such a calm and happy child.
