a date.

a couple of weeks ago i surprised nick and took him on a date. he's always asking me to go golfing with him so i surprised him and we went to the driving range. i think i had more fun taking pictures than i did golfing.. after golfing we drove up emigratoin canyon to ruth's diner for lunch. nick had never been there so i thought he'd love it. which he did. after a yummy lunch we caught a movie. my little sister watched the boys so we could enjoy a day with just the two fo us. it's so nice to go out and not have to worry about bottles, diapers, nap times, etc. we love our boys... but we also love a little break now and then.

Love the pics. And I agree- it is nice to get away once in a while.

How fun. We need to plan a double date and take a hike up that way, it's super pretty.

You're so thoughtful! I need to do something like that for RJ. I think I get a little lazy and just let the chips fall where they may. I'm going to challenge myself to do something by the end of the month!

You are such a cute wife, and a super talented photographer! If I took pictures of the driving range, none of them would turn out, let alone be worth posting. I am glad you guys were able to get away for a while. I totally understand loving your kids, but needing a break once in a while.

What a good wife! You are such a talented photographer. I always drool over the pics on your blog. You should teach a class. I would pay big bucks for your tips.

That looks like so much fun! Carl and I are in desperate need of a date too! Maybe we will go golfing!

Jen I am so sorry I never got back to you when you made a comment on my blog! I got so excited to see what you were up to that I spent like an hour looking at yours and then had to run off somewhere and never actually posted a comment! MY BAD! I also wanted to say how awesome your photography is! I've seen a few of Julie's kids and they are just adorable. You have such an awesome talent!

My kind of date girl! Way to go but I would have to say I love the pictures even more! A kid really gets you obsessed with taking pictures!
