4 Months..

I cannot believe it.. tomorrow my little baby will be 4 months old! Every month flies by and he gets bigger and bigger! Well, for updates.. he has his checkup next week but I think he weighs about 15 or 16lbs and is 25 inches. His new thing is blankets, he doesn't have a favorite yet but he love them over his head when he sleeps.. uh ya sounds dangerous! I pull them off but somehow he just pulls it right back.. so whatever! I've started him on a few solids.. just rice and apple sauce. He loves them both and is really working on learning how to swallow vs sucking on the spoon. ha-ha

This year is almost over and so much has happened. I guess getting married and having a baby all in one year can make it feel like it flew by. Nick is going back to school in January to finish his degree in Finance, he has about a year and a half left. I'm applying for another position at Zions. It will be Full Time but pay substantually more so hoping that goes my way so we wont be so poor while he's in school. I know it will all be worth it so I can make a few sacrifices. I've been feeling so sick the past couple of days and Nixen has been kind of a little monster.. more fussy than normal. Maybe he's getting what I have..but hopefully not. We've boycotted the whole crying it out thing. We did it for almost 2 weeks and he wasn't improving.. it's so hard emotionally and for us right now, not worth it. Maybe I'll try again in a month or so.

What a cutie. Dallin sleeps with his blanket on his head and has since birth. I say they wouldnt put it on there if they couldnt breath. People at church freak out about it when hes sleeping there. I think you are smart to give up on the crying out for now. I think 6 mos is an easier age for them to understand it. Every kid is different and if yours isnt ready youre smart to quit. Maggie wouldnt do it until she was closer to one, Dallin has been since birth. Sounds like you had quite the year.

He is such a cutie!! Time does fly by especially when you have a little one to take care of.

He is so cute. I love how solid looking he is, too cute. Tyson was always pulling his blanket up over his head. My mom would be freaking out, but that's the way he liked it and he's still alive and kickin lol.

I hope you are all feeling better soon. I am crossing my fingers that the job works out!
